This week in Reception 1, the Tigers learned about nutrition, healthy foods, the food pyramid, and food groups. Each Tiger made his or her own book called Let's Eat, which they could take home and read to their parents. They also learned to recognize new words, such as "eat," "bread," "eggs," and "corn." They also did many activities with the Letter N and Number 9. On Friday, we did more addition problems, and almost every Tiger got the answers right. Wow.
The Horses learned more about their bodies, how they look and how they are different from each other, and what foods are good and bad for them. They learned more about the Letter N, but also fun with the letter A.
