December 10-14, 2012

This week in Reception 1, Mr. Bernard and Miss Jolian led the kids in many different activities, including discussions about kings and queens, princes and princesses, and making snowmen and Christmas trees out of circles and triangles. (Ms. Kristina was banned from the classroom by the doctor.) The children also worked on special holiday projects (TOP SECRET!). The children learned about big, bigger and biggest as well, and incorporated learning into their crafts.

First, to warm up our bodies and brains:

GUEST READERS
Every day at 3:30 p.m. for the last two weeks, we have had a guest reader come
into the Reception 1 Classroom to read to R1 and R2 children.
Thank you to these special people who have shared their time and winter and holiday
stories with us, reading their favorite books, and opening up new worlds!

MIS' Mr. Henderson from New Zealand reads his favorite tale

Alessandra's dad Fermin shares a story he loves
and we love to look at pictures!
