Thankful and "th" (November 12-16, 2012)

This week in Reception 1, we talked about what it means to be thankful. What makes us happy? Do we say thank you when someone makes us happy, does something nice for us or gives us something? We learned how people around the world say "thank you."

We also worked on words that have the "th" sound in them, such as "three," "thing," and "thanks." Next week is Thanksgiving in the USA, so we will continue to talk about thanking and Thanksgiving as well. (As a reminder, there is no school on Thursday or Friday, November 22 and 23.) We will also do lots of activities involving turkeys. Gobble gobble!
